Kinetic Grid

A Swiss-print grid that behaves like fabric: it dents, folds into walls and turns on its axis.

Motion
A 41 × 41 line sheet lives in true perspective. Its edges fold up along creases like paper, the far third rises into a wall, then the whole plane turns a quarter — a symmetry that lets the loop close exactly. Under all of it, slow loop-locked swells keep the surface breathing.
Demo brand

Interaction

  • The cursor is a weight on the sheet: a dent follows it, ray-cast onto the plane
  • Lines inside the dent heat to signal orange; intersections light up as crosshairs
  • Velocity shears the headline and drags a wake through the grid
  • Click plucks the sheet — a ring wave runs to the edges; scroll lifts the camera overhead
  • Canvas 2D, single path per family
  • Manual perspective projection
  • Ray–plane pointer mapping
  • Hinge-fold transforms
  • Radial-gradient stroke heat
